Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) 2022-23

It’s that time of the year again, the new Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) seasonal measure will run from 1st of September 2022 until the 30th of April, 2023.

The measures remain consistent with 2021-22 season with the addition of China and UK as an emerging risk country.

The 2022-23 BMSB risk season, measures will apply to;

• Targeted goods manufactured in or shipped from target risk countries, and/or
• Vessels that berth at, load, or tranship from target risk countries within  the same period.

Goods must be treated for BMSB if  exported between September 2022 and 30^th April 2023 (inclusive)
