ADM Global was engaged in a large import airfreight project (door to door service).
The cargo was both over dimensional and exceedingly heavy (1 piece, 21,340kgs @ 310 x 255 x 255cm).
A (new/potential) customer approached ADM Global with respect to origin logistics (pick/scan-pack). They had been building (kitting/co-packing) back to school packs for a number of their customers in Australia over many years, however they wanted to explore the option/possibility of shifting the program offshore citing possible cost and lead time savings.
An existing ADM Global customer wants to expand their business into both the USA and China markets. Each market has its own challenges in particular when considering the legal/compliance issues of both countries.
