The Biosecurity cost recovery charge applicable to full import declarations with a value exceeding A$1000 will increase from July 1st, 2026.
The cost recovery charge is collected by the Australian Border Force (ABF) on behalf of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) and is reflected on the customs declaration.
