Major Port Disruptions

We have received notification overnight that there are major delays expected in Ningbo port resultant from a COVID-19 outbreak at one of the terminals and as such, given that Ningbo is one of the world’s largest ports, major delays and disruptions are expected.

In addition to the above, COVID-19 has also caused major delays and shutdowns in Nanjing as well as in Vietnam where we have been advised that there is already a 100,000 TEU back-log at Cat Lai port.

Unfortunately, the above news is in addition to the existing challenges we face within the current global shipping crisis.

ADM Global shall continue to monitor the situation closely and will report further updates as we receive them.
